“Very motivated and pumped after the class with Cara in LA. She is amazing. So generous with information and tips, so kind and so caring! Every education is an investment which 99.99% pays off! Cara’s class was SO worth it…like 10000% worth it! It is these little things that make a huge difference and that make the style so neat and gorgeous. I am very happy that I was able to meet her and to learn from her. She is an amazing person and an amazing teacher.”

“I took a one on one styling class today with Cara. This experience was exciting, challenging, inspiring and motivating. One of my goals for the year is to expand my styling skills beyond my boho look. It was honestly really hard for me to step out of my comfort zone and learn new techniques, but I’m so glad I did. Thank you for pushing me today Cara! You’re an amazing teacher and I’m so lucky to learn from you!”

“Firstly I would like to say thank you SO SO much for your time and patience in your one and one class. I have stepped out of your class feeling exhilarated. There was so much knowledge and information you have shared with me that I will cherish forever. I have learned so much and I am glad I recorded it all so I know I will have to watch back at it again to remaster the techniques. It’s so true when you say invest in yourself because bigger and better things come to those who put that extra effort. I definitely will recommend you to anyone who wants to build on their styling skills. Thank you so much!!!! I appreciate YOU! “

Where will the class be held?It will be held at my home studio located in Earlwood, Sydney.
-
Is there parking available? There is limited street parking available. You can also park at The Grounds of Alexandria Carpark. The entrance is 2 Huntley St, Alexandria. It’s just a 2 minute walk to the salon from there.
-
What if I can’t find a model, can I work on a hair mannequin? You can work on a hair mannequin however, I encourage you to bring at least 1 real model so that you can work with a real person, understanding their likes and dislikes, how they tolerate pain, and you can also get great content to post. After teaching countless 1 on 1 lessons, I’ve never had anyone not show up with a model. You’ll be surprised that there’s quite a lot of people who would actually be available. I would recommend asking your friends, work colleagues, previous brides or clients, or you can put a task on Airtasker and offer people some money. As a reference, previously my students have paid $40 - $50 an hour for a model.
-
So what’s the process like after I book?As soon as you’ve booked the date online and paid the deposit, the date is secured. You’ll be asked to fill out a questionnaire so I can better understand your needs. After reviewing the form, I will personalise the class to you and let you know when to bring in your models.
-
Just checking you’re providing food?Yes I will provide food. For a full class, you'll be provided with lunch. For a half day class, there will be finger food or snacks so that we can still eat and work at the same time to make the most of the lesson.
-
Can I record the lesson?Yes you can. I encourage you to record as much as possible so that you can look back at a later date.
-
What do I need to bring to the class? You’ll need to bring a notebook, a pen, a mobile phone so that you can record the lesson. Please ensure that you have enough memories on your phone. Also bring your phone charger in case you run out of battery.
